Decorah Power is Back:
Vote Yes! for Opportunity on March 4th

The Decorah City Council has paved the way for our voices to be heard by calling a referendum on March 4th. It is up to us, the citizens of Decorah, to advocate for what is in our best interest.

Voting YES! will authorize the City to “Establish a Municipal Electric Utility.”  This is the legal structure required to gain access to the information needed to learn who can provide us with the most reliable and affordable electricity. While this vote won’t change your electrical provider, it will open the door for the City to answer the question: what is best for the citizens of Decorah?

Early voting starts February 12th. Every vote counts. Every voice matters.

We are a group of local citizens invested in supporting a YES! Vote to establish a municipal utility for Decorah. While this vote will not change our utility provider, it will give us the legal standing we need to determine what is in Decorah's best interest.
